Speed Optimization
Faster pages that keep visitors around and rank better in search.
Every second costs you visitors.
Slow pages lose readers before they see your first headline, and search engines rank them lower for it. Speed optimization tunes your site end to end, so it loads fast on real phones on real connections, not just in the office.
Fast pages are read. Slow pages are abandoned.
More than half of mobile visitors leave a page that takes over three seconds to load, and Google measures the same thing when it ranks you. We start with a real measurement of your site on a mid-range phone, then fix the biggest problems first.
- Free assessment with a plain-English report
- Fixes made on staging, then pushed live
- Before-and-after scores you can check yourself

Measured first, then fixed.
- Images, resized, compressed, and served in modern formats without visible quality loss
- Caching, page, object, and browser caching configured for your site’s traffic
- Code and plugins, unused scripts removed, render-blocking assets deferred, heavy plugins replaced
- Database, cleaned of revisions, transients, and orphaned data that slow every query
- Core Web Vitals, before-and-after scores so you can see exactly what changed

The server matters as much as the code.
Optimization only goes as far as the hosting underneath it. SiteVirtue plans run on NVMe storage, server-level caching, and a network built for WordPress, so the gains we make in your code show up for every visitor, every time.
- Server caching configured for your site, not a generic profile
- Modern PHP and HTTP/2 on every plan
- Staging included, so tuning never risks the live site
Before you ask
Will optimization change how my site looks?
No. Images are compressed at sizes where the difference is invisible, and code changes happen behind the scenes. If a change would affect the design, we show you on staging first.
I already use a caching plugin. Is this different?
A caching plugin is one piece. Oversized images, slow database queries, render-blocking scripts, and heavy plugins are not fixed by caching, and they are usually where the time goes.
How long does it take?
The assessment takes a day. Most optimizations are finished within a week, and we send the before-and-after report when we are done.
